ETSU interior design students recently participated in the fast paced inaugural portfolio review and NCIDQ discussion sponsored by the Knoxville chapter of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). For the portfolio review, students and local professionals engaged in several nine minute “speed dates”. In each “speed date” students would quickly present their portfolio, and then professionals would comment about the layout and content of the portfolio. At the end of the event, changes to the qualifications for the NCIDQ and strategies for passing the exam were discussed. Thanks to Workspace Interiors and Knoxville ASID for hosting the event!
