INTD Majors Present to Mountain States Health Alliance

In our senior Health Care Studio, we have teamed up with the corporate design office at Mountain States Health Alliance to research topics in health care and relay the students’ findings and recommendations as to how to implement those findings in a real life scenario.   As part of their education, our students present to MSHA employees in a graduated series of meeting rooms and board rooms, beginning in a small conference room, and culminating with their final project presentation in the MSHA Executive Board Room.  This exercise not only prepares the students for the necessary research for special populations that our field requires, but they also gain valuable experience presenting to real-world clients in a variety of off-campus settings.  These images are from our initial meeting where the students presented their research and solutions for tackling Wayfinding on an Assisted Living Campus, taking into account the wide variety of populations in such a setting.
